In the early days sign-written wooden destination boards were used on London Transport buses, which were replaced by more versatile roll-blinds. In time these have almost all been replaced by computer generated route and destination displays – another piece of history gone forever…
However, we have managed to secure a limited number of the London Transport Bus Blinds, allowing you to own a piece of London Transport history. These vintage signs combine simple graphics with beautiful framing and mounting, and would make a superb gift.
