TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DELIVERY CHARGES
We try to keep our post & packaging prices to a minimum for all regions. Post and packaging costs may vary if extra packaging is required.
Mainland UK
DECAF Living uses Royal Mail and selected Couriers. Our delivery charges are based on the weight and size of the products you order. For more information on timing, please see Delivery Times below.
Below is a general guideline to the costs you can expect to pay at checkout:
UK Extra Small Order (2 – 5 days) - £3.50
UK Extra Small Order (Next Day) - £5.50
UK Small / Medium Order (2 – 5 days) - £6.00
UK Small / Medium Order (Next Day) - £9.00
UK Large Order (2 – 5 days) - £10.00
UK Large Order (Next Day) - £16.00
Next Day delivery is only available on orders placed before 14h00 UK Time.
Exceptions to the above costs are the wall stickers. These are shipped from a different warehouse and thus a seperate delivery charge of £10 is already included in their costs. Additional items ordered with wall stickers will be charged as above.
Europe Delivery Charges
Europe Extra Small and Small Items charged at £10.50
Europe Heavier Items charged at £22.00 (this may include some multi-item orders)
The European countries covered by these charges are Netherlands, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Italy and Portugal.
USA and the rest of the World
Glass, Ceramics, Mirror & Porcelain items are fragile in nature & are NOT recommended for international delivery. If you do purchase this type of product & require international delivery (outside of mainland UK) we cannot be held responsible for any loss or damage in transit.
DELIVERY TIMES
For items held in stock, please allow 10 days for UK mainland delivery. For items not held in stock, we will communicate estimated delivery dates. While we try to adhere to delivery dates, they may be subject to change and we cannot accept liability for any loss or damage (whether direct or indirect) for delivery at any times other than the estimated date for delivery. When paying by cheque please allow 5 extra working days for clearance.
Delivery outside of the UK will take longer, and may take up to 28 days depending on location. For specific details please email us above.
REFUNDS AND EXCHANGES
a) If your item has arrived damaged or part of the order is missing.
In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged or some items are missing, please email us at customerservice@decafliving.co.uk within 7 days of receiving the delivery. Claims will not be accepted after this time.
b) Other
If you are in any way dissatisfied with any of the items you have received, please email us at customerservice@decafliving.co.uk within 7 days of receiving the delivery.
For all returns and exchanges, complete the returns form that was sent with your order and post the items to the address below:

Returns should reach us within 7 days of you emailing us; please remember that it could take up to 4 days for postage. All items must be returned to us in the same condition they were delivered in, and in all original packaging.
If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct these costs from the amount to be re-credited to you. We reserve the right to withhold a percentage of the refund value of returned goods if the product or packaging is in such a condition that the item needs to be reduced in price for resale.
Please wrap the items very securely and use insured registered delivery, keeping the receipt in case of any damage in transit. Please note that these returns are at your cost and risk, as DECAF Living cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in the post.
All overseas orders will be refunded in Sterling. DECAF Living cannot be held responsible for any fluctuations in exchange rates and consequent loss of currency as a result. We would ask our overseas customers to bear this in mind when placing orders.
NON-DELIVERY OF ENTIRE ORDER
For packages delivered by Royal Mail, we have to allow 15 working days (Monday to Saturday) before they will classify an order as missing. If an item has been recorded as missing DECAF Living reserves the right to:
(A) Send a replacement product
(B) Refund payment
(C) Wait for a response from Royal Mail
Before deciding on a course of action (under new Royal Mail Guidelines we have to wait for a returned P91 Lost Order Form which Royal Mail needs to accept before arranging any replacements or refunds).
For packages delivered by courier, we will request tracking Information.
ORDER CANCELLATION BY DECAF LIVING
We reserve the right to cancel your order if:
- We do not deliver to your area
- An items description or pricing was incorrectly stated on our website.
- An item has been discontinued by our supplier
You will receive an email confirming this, and a refund will be made to the debit or credit card used as soon as possible. This will be no longer than 30 days of the order placement. DECAF Living is not obliged to refund any funds over the amount of the original order.
STOCK AVAILABILITY
Although we try our best, it is not always possible to hold all items in stock at all time. If you order a particular item that is out of stock, we will advise you of the anticipated delivery date and place the item on back-order.
VAT
We are currently not VAT registered; VAT is currently not included or added to any product on this site. The price you see next to any item is the price you will pay at checkout (excluding postage costs).
SECURE PAYMENT
DECAF Living uses 128 bit encryption for all credit card payments received on our site. All details are only decrypted when they reach our onsite computer system and are therefore not held on any web site. We will not keep your credit card details.
We use Barclays Merchant Banking (ePDQ) as our on-line payment processors and accept MasterCard, VISA, Switch, Solo and Delta cards. We also accept PayPal, and if choosing this payment method, we can accept American Express cards
DATA PROTECTION AND PRIVACY
Any information you provide to us will be used solely to determine product preferences, which site pages work for you and which don’t. After all, we’d like the site to be useful to you and shopping to be as easy as possible.
You can rest assured that we will never pass this information to any other 3rd party, whether company or individual. We dislike spam as much as you do!
We may send you our newsletter from time to time to let you know of special offers and new products. Should you no longer wish to receive these, we will unsubscribe you immediately.
RECYCLING
We value the environment and as such where possible recycle all packaging. If you would prefer different packaging please note this in the comments field at checkout.
